Himanshu Kashyap, MD, MBA
Himanshu Kashyap, MD, MBA is Chief Financial Officer of Becker & Associates Consulting, Inc. (Becker Consulting) and of Becker Venture Services Group LLC (Becker VSG). Dr. Kashyap has spent his entire career in the healthcare sector, including several years on Wall Street as a merger & acquisition and healthcare investment banker. During this time, Dr. Kashyap led multiple M&A, leveraged buyout, private equity placement, debt financing and financial restructuring transactions across industries and within healthcare, for a sum of over $2.0 billion in completed transactions. Within healthcare, Dr. Kashyap’s experience spans the biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, specialty pharmaceutical, healthcare services and healthcare information technology market segments.
Most recently, Dr. Kashyap served in the corporate finance team of B.C. Ziegler & Co., a leading healthcare-focused investment bank. In this role, he originated and executed multiple transactions in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology space. Prior to B.C. Ziegler & Co., Dr. Kashyap served in Edgeview Partners, a leading boutique investment bank. In addition to executing a variety of investment banking transactions, Dr. Kashyap participated in Edgeview Partners’ healthcare services branding initiative and authored Deal Tracker, a monthly healthcare M&A newsletter with circulation to over 400 private equity groups and over 100 healthcare companies. Dr. Kashyap started his investment banking career in the corporate finance practice of Ernst & Young (currently Macquarie Securities). Prior to his investment banking career, Dr. Kashyap was a practicing physician and served in Victoria Hospital at Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore, India. There, Dr. Kashyap provided clinical care to patients and also assisted medical device and pharmaceutical companies in preparing plans for clinical studies.
Dr. Kashyap earned his Master in Business Administration in Corporate Finance from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, where he was a Dean’s fellow, and his Doctor of Medicine from Bangalore University, India. Dr. Kashyap has successfully completed levels I and II of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program. Dr. Kashyap lives in Las Vegas with his wife, son and daughter.
